Milcielo Claire S. Villamayor

Milcielo Claire S. Villamayor, is an Underbar Associate of the Firm. She is currently undergoing training in and exposure to the different practice areas of the Firm pending the results of the 2018 Bar Examinations.

Milcielo or “Mic” graduated with a Bachelor of Laws degree from the San Beda University College of Law-Mendiola in 2018. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Broadcast Communication from the University of the Philippines-Diliman. She graduated cum laude and was inducted as a lifetime member into the Pi Gamma Mu International Honor Society for Social Sciences.

In her freshman year at the San Beda University College of Law, she ranked 2nd in her batch and received the Silver Medal from the Dean’s Annual Honor Roll. In her sophomore year, she became a scholar of the Intellectual Property Association of the Philippines.

Shortly before entering her junior year, she served as a legal intern at the Office of the Solicitor General (OSG) where she was also appointed as a member of the editorial staff of the very first OSG Legal Interns Journal.

Mic was as a member of the Criminal Law and Political Law subjects of the San Beda Centralized Operations before she was ultimately appointed as the Subject Chairperson for Civil Law in her senior year.

She also served as a writer and editor of the San Beda Law Journal where she wrote two articles entitled, “The Pen is Mightier Than the Sword: Delving on the Propriety of Conducting Licensure Examinations for Media Practitioners,” and “Protecting the Power of the Mind: A Survey of the Laws on Intellectual Property in the ASEAN Region.” She was likewise involved in various intra-school and inter-school moot court competitions as a member of the San Beda International Law Society.
