AIRA MARIELLE M. GERONIMO is a Junior Associate and a member of the Firm’s Corporate Services, Technology, Media, Telecommunications, Intellectual Property, and Tax Departments.

Aira’s practice focuses on corporate and commercial matters, particularly the incorporation and post-incorporation transactions for local and multinational companies. She assists clients in registration, regulatory, and compliance matters of various entities which are regulated by the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) and the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).

Prior to joining the Firm, Aira was a Senior Associate at Sycip, Gorres, Velayo & Co. (SGV & Co.), a Philippine member firm of Ernst & Young Global Limited, under the Business Tax Services Department. Her former practice involved advisory services on corporate restructuring and tax planning for various corporations.

She earned her Juris Doctor degree from San Beda University – College of Law and was admitted to the Philippine Bar in 2022. In 2020/21 Bar Examination, Aira was among those who passed with “exemplary performance” as recognized by the Supreme Court. She obtained her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration Major in Financial Management from the University of Santo Tomas in 2016.

Aira’s recent transactions include:

• Preparing pertinent documents and processing the incorporation of various entities
• Advising clients on regulatory and compliance matters as required by the BSP and SEC
• Handling license applications of non-bank financial institutions and assisting such clients with matters before the BSP
• Assisting clients with applications before the Intellectual Property Office.
