Maria Angela Mercado

MARIA ANGELA T. MERCADO is a Junior Associate and member of the Technology, Media, and Telecommunications (TMT), Data Privacy, Cybersecurity, and AI, Corporate, and Environment, Social, and Governance (ESG) Departments.

Prior to joining the firm, Angela was a Marketing Manager and headed various marketing and communications functions and campaigns for leading technology and financial technology companies like Binance, CIMB Bank, and Lazada.

Angela was also an Editor for the 94^th Volume of the Philippine Law Journal, during which she served as one of the Issue Editors for the Journal’s special online issue on Law and Technology.

A member of the Philippine Bar since 2025, Angela received her Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from the University of the Philippines. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Organizational Communication from the same university, graduating Magna Cum Laude.
