Chriselle Marie G. Dabao

CHRISELLE MARIE G. DABAO is a Junior Associate and a member of the Corporate, Technology Media & Telecommunications, Real Property and Taxation.

Chriselle’s practice includes assisting companies with their regulatory compliance matters as required by the Philippine Central Bank (Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas), Securities and Exchange Commission, Bureau of Internal Revenue, Local Government Units, and other administrative bodies. Her work includes corporate structuring, licensing, and corporate dealings such as mergers and acquisitions, commercial transactions, and legal due diligence. Chriselle also handles tax assessment cases before the Bureau of Internal Revenue and the Court of Tax Appeals, VAT refund applications, sale, and transfer of property, and estate settlement. Prior to joining the Firm, she worked as an Audit Associate at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC).

Chriselle received her Juris Doctor (J.D.) from San Beda University – College of Law (Mendiola, Manila). During her legal studies, Chriselle was a member of the San Beda University – Central Board Operations (Civil Law Committee), and the San Beda Legal Aid Bureau.

Chriselle holds a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy from San Beda University – College of Arts and Sciences and passed the CPA Board Examinations on May 2016. She served as the Head of the Commission on Audit – Executive Committee and a member of the Junior Philippine Institute Association.

Chriselle’s recent transactions include:

• Assisted in handling mergers and acquisitions transactions including acquisitions of a lending company with an Online Lending Platform by an offshore entity; mergers and acquisitions transactions including acquisitions of digital banks;
• Provided corporate law advisory services such as capital restructuring, incorporation and post-incorporation matters, reportorial compliance matters, and private placement transactions which involve the drafting of a legal opinion;
• Assisted in preparation of pleadings and motions in various tax cases pending before the Court of Tax Appeals;
• Assisted clients in BIR and local tax audit investigations; and
• Assisted in various electronic Certificates Authorizing Registration applications for the transfer and sale of shares and real property;
