CHRISTINE G. TABALINGCOS is a Junior Associate and a member of the General Corporate Services, M&A, Data Privacy & Cybersecurity, and Technology Media & Telecommunications Departments.

Christine’s practice includes technology media & telecommunications, data privacy, cybersecurity, various areas of corporate and commercial law such as mergers and acquisitions, transactional advisory, and legal due diligence. Christine is involved in regulatory compliance for publicly listed companies and assists clients in securing secondary license/s from the Securities and Exchange Commission and various license applications with the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas.

A member of the Philippine Bar since 2022, Christine was an Exemplary Bar Passer of the 2022 Bar and she received her Juris Doctor (J.D.) from the Tañada-Diokno College of Law – De La Salle University. She holds a degree of Bachelor of Science in Management in International Business from Assumption College Makati.

Christine’s recent transactions include:

• Conducting legal due diligence for acquisition transactions and securing necessary regulatory permits, licenses, and tax clearances in the course of acquisition;
• Assisting corporations with their regulatory compliance, including preparation of disclosures for listed companies;
• Preparation and processing of license applications for non-bank financial institutions before the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas; and
• Assisting corporations to meet regulatory compliance requirements with the National Privacy Commission, including preparation and processing of applications for registration of Data Protection Officers and Data Breach Notification Management System.
