Atty. Julius M. Lotilla is a dual-qualified lawyer in the Philippines and New York. A respected luminary in the field of energy law, he has extensive experience in brownfield acquisitions and greenfield power projects from all phases of exploration, pre-development, financing, and commercial operations of all forms of renewable energy, oil and gas projects (upstream and downstream), including power generation, transmission, and distribution.
Atty. Lotilla held key roles in government having served as Vice President and General Counsel of Power Sector Assets and Liabilities Management Corporation (PSALM) and as a consultant to the National Electrification Administration (NEA). Atty. Lotilla has vast exposure in handling complex commercial transactions and previously worked as counsel of multi-national companies, including Shell Philippines Exploration, Aboitiz Power, and Energy Development Corporation, among others.
Julius holds a Bachelor of Science in Commerce from De La Salle University and Juris Doctor from Ateneo Law School. He received his Master of Laws with specialization in Energy and Natural Resources from the Centre for Commercial Law Studies of Queen Mary, the University of London as a Chevening Scholar
