Marcelino G. Veloso III is the Tech Counsel of the Firm. Being both a lawyer and a programmer, he is in a unique position to analyze concepts that fall within the intersection of law and technology. He has written on remote online notarization, virtual property rights, telecom policy, and legal research.

He has built tools related to legal techs such as a platform compliant with online mandatory continuing legal education, a shepardizer of legislation, a system for analyzing judicial votes, and an algorithm for classifying case law. He has also created a system for in-house regulatory compliance.

Mars consults for companies interested in modernizing their legal policies as they relate to digital technology. He is the CEO and founder of Apptitude, an online learning management system with certificates on the blockchain.

Aside from being a member of the Bar, he holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science from the University of the Philippines. He is co-founder of Legal Hackers Manila, a grassroots organization for law and tech enthusiasts.
