FRANCIS A. AFRICA a Senior Partner, heads the Litigation Group and the Data Privacy & Cybersecurity Group of the Firm. His practice areas include data privacy, cybersecurity, labor, litigation, mining, transportation, and real estate.

Kiko has an extensive experience in litigation covering civil, criminal, tax, corporate, and labor-related disputes. He is also exposed to various compliances and regulatory work in relation to transportation law, among others.

Kiko was formerly connected with Ponce Enrile Reyes & Manalastas (PECABAR) and Santiago & Santiago Law Offices. He then established his own practice, Cauton & Africa, before joining the firm.

A member of the Philippine Bar since 2005, he holds a bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the University of Asia and the Pacific. He obtained his Juris Doctor degree from the Ateneo de Manila University.

He is a member of the Rotary Club of Paranaque East, a fellow of the Singapore International Foundation-National University of Singapore, and a Trustee of the Ateneo de Manila Law Alumni Association, Inc.
