PAOLA BEATRIZ A. ESCOBAR, is a Junior Associate and a member of the Firm’s Technology, Media & Telecommunications (TMT), Fintech, Corporate, Banking & Finance, and Energy Departments.

Paola’s practice includes regulatory compliance before the Securities and Exchange Commission and other regulatory agencies, corporate secretarial and housekeeping functions, as well as incorporation and post-incorporation processes. She likewise advises on a broad range of corporate matters, including mergers and acquisitions, corporate due diligence, and governance structuring, and regularly provides continuing advisory and retainer services to support clients in meeting their regulatory and operational requirements and concerns. Prior to joining the Firm, Paola practiced at a Makati-based law firm where she also handled civil, criminal, and labor litigation, as well as immigration concerns.

During law school, Paola was an active member of San Beda Law RGCT – Bar Operations Center as a Core Member for the Membership Committee and Logistics Committee. She was also active in the Academics Committee as Subject Head for Partner, Agency, and Trust and for Special Proceedings and Special Civil Actions. In addition, she gained practical experience as a Legal Assistant at the Maritime Industry Authority – Standards of Training, Certification, and Watchkeeping Division.

A member of the Philippine Bar since December 2023, Paola earned her Juris Doctor degree from San Beda University Manila. She also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management major in Human Resources Development Management from the University of Santo Tomas.
